Direct Support Professional
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide supervision, guidance, instruction, and/or skill building to individuals regarding daily living activities, safety, and interaction with others. DSP’s provide active treatment at all times and adhere to standards, procedures and schedules established by the Director, Program Supervisor and Nursing staff.
Licensed Practical Nurse
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team (IDT) and assists with the assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing services. This nurse administers medications, treatments, monitors each client’s physical and psychological status; and facilitates medical follow up as needed. The LPN provides education to the IDT related to each client’s individualized healthcare needs and promotes client independence.
This nurse practices within the scope of Pennsylvania’s Nurse Practice Act and in accordance with ACLG policies and procedures.
Behavior Consultant:
Behavioral Consultants (direct, contracted, or in a consulting capacity) complete assessments, develop and update Behavioral Support and Crisis Intervention Plans, and train other staff. The behavioral specialist ensures that the behavioral support provided to the participant includes positive practices and the least restrictive interventions.
*Must have a Master’s Degree and Functional Behavior Assessments and Positive Support Plans Training completed*
